Stream Restoration Project

July 8, 2022 — On June 22, 2022, the County provided a virtual presentation for all homeowners, introducing the upcoming start of the long-awaited Stream Restoration Project. The project begins at the discharge end of the Pond. The presentation included a slide show which was narrated by the Project Engineer. July 1, 2022 — The contract for Phase 1 of the project has been awarded. A pre-construction meeting with the contractor, and initial construction prep is scheduled for July. Serious work should begin in late July. Substantial completion of this phase is expected in January 2024. Phase 2 of this project, an additional ¼ mile of restoration, was initiated in early 2021. Presumably this phase will immediately follow Phase 1 completion, and continue for an additional 6 months, extending into late 2024.
