What We Do

The Neighborhood Watch was established to prevent crime and improve the quality of life in Fairfax Station. We monitor and report on incidents within the neighborhood and liaise with local law enforcement. If you would like to become a Neighborhood Watch member, please contact Paul Ciatti.

All residents of Fairfax Station can do their part to keep our community safe. Take small actions to prevent crime and protect your family, home, and valuables.

Quick Tips
  • If you cannot garage your vehicle, please ensure that the vehicle is clear of any valuables, locked and parked in a well lit area
  • Keep your vehicle’s registration in your wallet or purse — not in your vehicle
  • Please keep an eye on homes you know may be unoccupied during the summer and holidays; if you’ll be away, put a hold on your mail and newspaper delivery
  • If you cannot see your garage door, close it to prevent thieves from entering your home undetected
  • Take your outgoing mail to the post office or blue mailbox to prevent stolen mail
